Euclid's C-Finder

Weapons & Gear · Source: Fallout: New Vegas

Overview

Euclid's C-Finder is a child's toy telescope that has been secretly modified into a targeting device for an orbital weapons platform. It allows its wielder to call down fire from space.

History & Development

The toy was manufactured as part of a promotional gimmick connected to the Archimedes II orbital weapon, with the targeting unit secretly installed in select units. It fell into the hands of a scavenger in New Vegas, who eventually passes it to the Courier. The Archimedes II platform at HELIOS One can be activated to support the device.

Technical Specifications

The C-Finder contains a miniaturized targeting computer that locks onto the Archimedes II satellite. When discharged, the platform fires a devastating orbital energy beam at the designated location. It has limited charges, and the beam is slow to arrive but annihilates whatever it strikes.

Wasteland Usage & Variants

The Courier can use the C-Finder to obliterate a targeted enemy group, most notably against Legion forces. It is a one-of-a-kind weapon with a long, dramatic delay between activation and impact. Its toy-like appearance makes it a perfect concealed weapon.

Notable Appearances

Euclid's C-Finder appears in Fallout: New Vegas, tied to the HELIOS One facility and the Archimedes II weapon system.
