Strong

Characters & NPCs · Source: Fallout 4 — Trinity Tower dialogue and 'Curtain Call' quest records

Overview

SUBJECT: Strong, a super mutant of the Commonwealth, formerly held at Trinity Tower. Current status: active, available as a companion. The subject is distinguished among his kind by a literal-minded quest for 'the milk of human kindness.'

History & Background

The subject was among the super mutants encamped in Trinity Tower when the actor Rex Goodman was captured and forced to perform Shakespeare for the mutants' entertainment. The phrase 'the milk of human kindness,' from Macbeth, entered the subject's understanding as the name of a tangible substance that grants humans their kindness. Liberated by the Sole Survivor during the 'Curtain Call' operation, the subject swore allegiance in exchange for assistance in finding this substance.

Personality & Traits

Behavioral profile: straightforward, strong-willed, and free of pretense. The subject speaks in the third person and measures the world in physical terms, but his devotion to the Sole Survivor is sincere. His interpretation of human morality is naive, and he approves of displays of strength and the consumption of fallen enemies.

Role in the Wasteland

The subject accompanies the Sole Survivor as a companion, serving as a formidable melee asset and an honest barometer of the Survivor's conduct. His search for the milk of human kindness is never resolved in the Commonwealth's records, leaving his story open.

Notable Appearances

Fallout 4 (2015), companion and central figure of the Trinity Tower rescue. His companion perk, Berserk, increases melee damage at low health.
