The Blood Eagles are a militarized raider gang of Appalachia — ex-soldiers and enforcers who traded their oaths for chems and blood, and now terrorize the wastes in blood-spattered armor and gas masks.

History & Background

After the war, many of Appalachia's soldiers and lawmen found their institutions gone and their skills worthless. Some formed the Blood Eagles, a gang that turned military discipline toward savagery: raiding settlements, burning rivals, and marking their kills in blood. Their addiction to chems fuels their violence, and their distinctive gas-masked look has become a symbol of terror across the region.

Details & Timeline

2102: the Blood Eagles operate from fortified camps across Appalachia, warring with other raiders and preying on settlers. Their raids forced the Responders and the Free States to fortify their towns, and their cruelty is documented in the holotapes left behind by their victims. As the wasteland's factions rebuild, the Blood Eagles remain one of the most dangerous threats to anyone who tries to call the hills home.
